Zandvoort
Zandvoort is beside Scheveningen one of the most popular bathing resorts the Netherlands. The tourism has here a long tradition. Already in 19. Century a bath house with special welfare and cure methods was opened. Many personalities, among them also empress Sisi of Austria selected Zandvoort as health resort. End of the 40iger years was opened a racing course for motorraces. Also Formula 1 running between 1952 and 1985 on this racing course were accomplished.
